Got a hole in the wall?

Easy fix! – Small holes only need a small dab of drywall repair compound. Apply and smooth over with a putty knife. Once the filler is dry, gently sand with a fine grit sanding sponge.
Larger holes may require backing before filling. Self adhesive drywall patches are as simple as peel and stick over the damaged area. Using a putty knife, cover the patch with a thin layer of drywall filler. Lightly sand when dry, careful not to sand down to the mesh of the patch. Repeat with a second layer of filler. Be sure to feather the filler a little past the edges of the first coat. This will allow the patch to blend into the wall. A coat of primer and paint completes the job.
